Wildflower Wednesday

These little beauties are growing on the roadside close to our house. We'd always called them brown-eyed susans, but they are small, have five petals and are not pointy on the end? I looked up several wildflower identification sites and didn't see any that looked like them. Anyway, they are cheerful and happy, and make me smile when I drive by. :)

There are so many different wildflowers with yellow blooms that I have trouble identifying many of them, too. These are such cheery faces even if we don't know their name!
