I am down to just two plox left as the only blooming plants left. The nighttime temps have been in the 20's and daytime in the 40's and 50's. We are supposed to get some snow on Monday!
Boy, it's cold there! We've been having really nice weather since Thanksgiving, which was chilly and rainy. Your photo of the flower with the boulder in the backgroud is lovely. Aiyana
Thank you :) We actually got snow here for the first time this year. Not enough to stick of course, but there were flakes falling. Just enough to snarl up traffic some!
Hi Lythrum, same with us. There are a few white creeping phlox blooming still, but they cannot keep it us with this onslaught of cold we have been having. I was hoping to take photos of the snow we got yesterday, but there was nothing to snap, it just blew away! Some schools are still closed here today, those in the higher elevations. Boo, we want some warmth! Frances

Oh isn't that phlox pretty! Dainty-looking, but obviously it's pretty tough, being the last standing in your garden with blooms!
Those are the bravest:) My roses are always the last to finally admit summer is over.
